Community Rallies to Deliver ‘Basket of Miracles’ Basic Needs to Families with Critically-Ill Children

You’re invited to get involved with the annual Miracles for Kids Spring Basket of Miracles activity in Orange County, California. Hundreds of volunteers from LA and OC will be assembling and hand delivering baskets filled with essential household goods, cleaning supplies, and seasonal gifts to ease the financial burden and spread love to families in need.

When a child is battling a life-threatening illness, everyday necessities like groceries, cleaning supplies, household essentials, can quickly become overwhelming for families already under emotional and financial strain. Through the Miracles for Kids Boost Program, the Basket of Miracles Deliveries, help stabilize these households by providing basic needs that allow parents to focus on their child’s care.

Miracles for Kids will host its annual Spring Basket of Miracles the week of March 23rd with the main event on Saturday morning, March 28th, bringing together hundreds of volunteers from LA and OC to assemble and deliver 400 baskets to families with critically-ill children, ensuring they have the essentials needed to navigate one of the most difficult periods of their lives. Each basket includes household necessities, fresh produce and vegetables, eggs, cleaning supplies, and seasonal gifts for children, along with hand-written personalized messages of encouragement. Volunteers will form an assembly line to pack the baskets before delivering them directly to Miracle families throughout Southern California.

Miracles for Kids provides essential resources and support to families struggling with the financial and emotional burden of having a critically-ill child. The Spring Basket of Miracles is one of the organization’s largest annual initiatives, helping to bring smiles and relief to families across Los Angeles and Orange County. This effort is made possible through generous donations from corporations, organizations, and individuals committed to making a difference.
