Bright Beginnings Academy was created to reimagine early childhood education in a way that honors both structure and curiosity. Founded by longtime collaborators who have worked together for more than six years, the academy grew out of a shared belief that young children thrive when thoughtful classroom routines are balanced with meaningful outdoor exploration. Serving children ages four through seven, Bright Beginnings Academy offers a learning environment designed around each child’s interests, needs and developmental goals.

Located in Newport Beach, the academy provides a warm, safe and inviting space where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions and build confidence. The program blends academic foundations with hands-on experiences, allowing students to engage with learning both indoors and outdoors. By thoughtfully integrating elements of Reggio Emilia, Montessori, play-based learning, and whole child education, Bright Beginnings Academy challenges young minds while nurturing creativity and a genuine love of learning.

Tours are available, and applications are being accepted for the 2026/27 school year.

In addition to its academic program, Bright Beginnings Academy is also home to Down to a Science Camp, a series of themed camps designed to keep children curious, engaged and excited to learn. Offered during the summer, winter break and spring break, each session introduces fresh themes that encourage exploration, creativity and hands-on discovery. Families appreciate that the camps reflect the same thoughtful approach as the academy itself, blending structure with play and meaningful outdoor experiences in a setting children genuinely enjoy.
