The inspiration for Brunch House was born during the pandemic, when Chef Desi discovered a deeper joy in cooking alongside her children. Those moments of togetherness revealed how food connects us—not just through taste, but through love, creativity and shared time. That experience inspired her to leave behind the corporate grind and pursue a life centered on passion, presence and purpose.

In the summer of 2024, that calling turned into a bold new chapter: she launched Brunch House, a private chef and culinary boat experience business that fuses culinary artistry, storytelling and community connection. Today, she’s proud to be a wife, mom and business owner who’s creating joy for others through her craft.

Rooted in Orange County Life

A true Orange County native, Chef Desi grew up here before heading to UCLA for college and then law school on the East Coast. Returning home has been a gift, especially now as she raises her two young sons. She cherishes the region’s outdoor lifestyle—spending time on the beach and boats, hiking along the ocean cliffs, and savoring the incredible dining scene that rivals any in the world.

When she’s not working with clients, you’ll likely still find Chef Desi cooking, decorating, or creating something beautiful. What began as a hobby has become both her passion and profession—and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Giving Back to the Community

Community and giving are integral to Chef Desi’s philosophy. She volunteers as a youth cooking teacher at her temple, inspiring the next generation of chefs.
