Get Ready to Go Greek

Brings old world tradition of Meraki to life with fresh new flavors in Newport Beach

Opa! β€œMeraki” is the Greek concept of creating with passion, embodied by Tim Littman and Eduardo Licona, franchisees of the recently opened Go Greek Yogurt location in Newport Beach. Their passion for the tangy and sweet treat was so consuming that they visited the shop in North Hollywood three times a week while living there. Littman, a native of Newport Beach, and his partner, Licona, wanted to bring the fresh, flavorful and artisanal Greek yogurt to our seaside community to share in the joy.

Go Greek Yogurt opened with great fanfare recently at 191 Riverside Ave., Unit C, next to Starfish and close to Ces’t Si Bon. Thoughtfully designed in a modern Mediterranean style with shades of Aegean blue and hand-laid tiles, the setting features indoor and outdoor seating for 20 customers in 1,200 square feet. Go Greek was intentionally designed for guests to connect and slow down, savoring every bite of the authentic, wholesome yogurt and fresh toppings. Honoring traditional recipes, the base for the yogurt is flown in daily from Greece. Original tart and sweet flavors are offered, along with assorted seasonal flavors and a non-dairy option. Toppings include a variety of fresh fruit, granola, classic sweets and assorted candy.

Go Greek Yogurt launched in Beverly Hills in 2012 and has steadily expanded its fresh, health-forward concept, with Newport Beach marking the first location in Orange County, the 4th in California, and the 13th globally. The brand is beloved by A-listers such as the Kardashians, Jennifer Aniston, Gigi Hadid and others.
