That’s exactly why Negar Lencioni became the owner of Assisted Living Locators Beach Cities & Irvine, a heartfelt venture rooted in compassion, personal experience and a mission to help others navigate these pivotal life transitions with clarity and support.

This locally owned business officially opened its doors in May 2024. But the inspiration behind it began much earlier. “I was contacted randomly by a business broker offering franchise opportunities. None of them felt right—until I came across Assisted Living Locators,” Negar recalls. “It struck a chord. I saw the opportunity to help people, especially a vulnerable population, find safety, comfort and dignity. And the fact that the service is completely free to families made it even more meaningful.”

What They Do

Assisted Living Locators offers a highly personalized service, helping individuals and their families identify the right fit—whether assisted living, memory care, or board and care communities. Rather than relying on impersonal online searches, families gain access to a trusted advisor who thoroughly researches the options and presents tailored recommendations based on needs, preferences and priorities. “We treat every family as if they were our own,” says Negar. “Their well-being and safety come first.”

More Than a Business—A Calling

What sets Negar and her team apart isn’t just the service—it’s the passion project behind it. With a background as a practicing attorney, she leverages her legal skills to identify issues and offer holistic support beyond care placement. “Families often need help with power of attorney documents, healthcare directives, downsizing, real estate and estate planning,” she explains. “We help connect them to trusted professionals, walking them through the entire process.”

This full-spectrum approach stems from Negar’s own experience with her husband’s grandmother and the challenges they faced in securing the right care. That memory and the anticipation of helping her father-in-law fueled her desire to take the guesswork and anxiety out of this decision-making journey for others. “It’s personal. And that’s what drives me. I remember the anxiety of not knowing what the right choice was or where to turn,” she says. “Now, I want to be that calm, steady resource for others.”

One of the reasons Negar chose to join Assisted Living Locators instead of launching a standalone business is the extensive network she now has access to—a nationwide group of fellow owners spanning nearly 40 states. “Another huge benefit for my clients is that even if they’re relocating to another state, I can ensure they’re connected with a vetted local expert in that area. It was important to me to provide this level of continuity and support, no matter where a family’s journey takes them,” she said.

Compassion in Action

Already, the impact has been profound. Negar and her team have helped numerous families relocate loved ones into environments where they could thrive—recovering from health events, regaining confidence and receiving the physical and mental stimulation they needed. And it doesn’t stop at placement. “We stay in touch even after someone has moved into a community to ensure their needs continue to be met,” she adds.

Guided by a powerful philosophy—“Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can…”—Negar remains focused on doing just that for families throughout Orange County.

A Local With Deep Roots

A proud Orange County native, Negar treasures the region’s diversity, coastal lifestyle and sunny weather. When she’s not serving families, you’ll find her enjoying time with her 7-year-old daughter, reading, baking, or squeezing in a workout. She and her husband are also long-time volunteers, actively supporting Girls Inc., United Way and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, where her husband serves as a Big Brother.
