It's more than a lovely place to get pedicured and pampered; it’s a movement. Created by owner Kim Caballero (a former corporate consultant turned creative entrepreneur), this space is a heartfelt love letter to the nail industry, where care, dignity, and artistry are placed front and center.
Kim says, “For too long, I watched an industry sacrifice care for speed, and people for profit. Le Petit was born from the belief that nail care can be both exceptional and deeply human.”
Her vision is clear the moment you walk through the doors: clean design, curated services and a team that genuinely values both guests and technicians. It’s a salon that doesn’t just set a new standard; it creates a new experience.

Rose’s Bakery – A Daily Ritual in CDM
Yes, we’ve featured Rose’s before, but with a new owner and some sweet updates, it’s time to give one of my favorite Corona del Mar spots another moment in the spotlight. I stop by for my daily iced tea fix, and the atmosphere remains as warm and inviting as ever, largely thanks to Sam, the new manager and unofficial "Mayor" of CDM.
Sam knows every customer by name, always greets with a smile, and somehow makes Rose’s feel like home. Whether you're there for a quick bite, a pastry, or just a caffeine fix like me, you’ll leave feeling better than when you walked in.

Makeup Monday Favorite – Merit Beauty
From my Makeup Monday series on the blog, one of my absolute standouts is Merit Beauty. Their minimal, clean and effortlessly chic products align perfectly with how I approach beauty, especially during the fall season. Light, glowy, and easy.
The foundation and concealer stick is one of my favorites - it replaces both steps in my routine and still leaves me looking fresh and polished. I’ve also been loving the Signature Lip in the shade “Baby.” It’s light, hydrating and adds just the right touch of color without feeling heavy. Their tinted lip oil has become my go-to for an all-day moisturizing tint, and the Solo Eye Shadow blends like a dream with either a brush or just my fingers.
