This Mother’s Day, Lido Marina Village is setting the stage for a thoughtfully curated week of experiences celebrating connection, creativity, and time well spent together along the harbor.

The festivities begin ahead of Mother’s Day weekend with a wellness-focused gathering created especially for moms. On Sunday, May 3, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., the Lido Deck will host a Stroller Sculpt Class led by Amanda DeRemer (@thestrolledit), which includes a 30-minute stroller-based workout followed by an opportunity to connect with other moms and enjoy curated takeaways—blending movement with meaningful community time.

Midweek, the focus shifts to creativity. On Wednesday, May 6, from 5 to 7 p.m., guests are invited to the Lido Deck for a Tote Bag Painting Workshop hosted by Bailey Art Studios. Led by artist Shauna Bailey, the hands-on session guides participants through painting florals, foliage, and personalized designs on canvas totes. Open to ages 10 and up, it’s an approachable and social experience ideal for mothers, daughters, and friends looking to celebrate together.

Mother’s Day weekend officially kicks off on Saturday, May 9, with the return of the Female Maker Market: Mother’s Day Edition. Running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Lido Deck, the open-air market will showcase more than 30 local female artists and makers. Guests can browse a curated selection of handmade goods and gifts while enjoying live poetry, music, and additional programming that brings a vibrant, community-driven energy to the waterfront.

On Sunday, May 10, from 12 to 4 p.m., the Village transforms into an immersive floral experience with the Mother’s Day Bouquet Trail. Designed to blend shopping, dining, and seasonal blooms, the interactive trail invites guests to create their own custom bouquet as they explore Lido’s collection of boutiques. Participating shops along Via Oporto—including LoveShackFancy, Alchemy Works, and Roller Rabbit—will offer a single floral stem with a qualifying purchase. Each stop adds a new layer to the bouquet, building a one-of-a-kind arrangement that reflects the day’s experience. At the conclusion of the trail, guests can visit a central floral station on the Lido Deck, where French Buckets will professionally wrap bouquets into a polished, gift-ready presentation.

For those searching for the perfect Mother’s Day gift, the Village’s boutiques offer a curated mix of standout finds. Highlights include a limited-edition capsule collection from The Great, fine jewelry from Marrow Fine, elevated sleepwear from Eberjey, paper goods and keepsakes from Sugar Paper, and custom fragrances from Le Labo.

The celebration continues with waterfront dining across the Village. Guests can enjoy Mother’s Day brunch at favorites like Lido Bottle Works, Malibu Farm, Zinqué, and SKÅL—offering the perfect setting to gather before or after exploring the Bouquet Trail.

From wellness and creativity to shopping, dining, and shared moments by the water, the week’s programming offers a fresh take on Mother’s Day in Newport Beach. It’s an invitation to discover something new, revisit favorite spots, and celebrate the women who matter most in a setting that feels both relaxed and refined.
