The Newport Beach Police Foundation hosted its 2026 Golf Classic on Monday, October 26, 2026, at Newport Beach Country Club, bringing together 150 golfers, 47 sponsors, and 45 police officers for a day dedicated to supporting local law enforcement and strengthening community connections.
The sold-out tournament brought residents, business leaders and members of the Newport Beach Police Department together in a show of appreciation for the officers who serve and protect the community. The event also highlighted the important role local philanthropy plays in supporting programs and resources that go beyond the City's annual police budget.
The Foundation extends special thanks to its three title sponsors, Steve Zanderholm, Maria Cadigan and ATI USA, whose generous support helped make the event possible, along with the additional 44 sponsors who contributed to the tournament's success.
The Golf Classic is one of the Foundation's community fundraising events, helping support initiatives that directly benefit Newport Beach police personnel and their families. These include specialized safety equipment, college scholarships for officers' children, assistance for families of fallen or injured officers, and support for the Department's K-9 and Mounted Enforcement units.
Beyond fundraising, the event provided an opportunity for community members and police officers to connect outside of their everyday roles, building relationships and reinforcing the strong partnership between Newport Beach residents and those who serve them.
