Sherman Library & Gardens Announces Inaugural Botanical Ball
Sherman Library & Gardens Botanical Ball
Presented by South Coast Plaza, Sherman Library & Gardens’ Botanical Ball will fuse together art, fashion and horticulture, immersing the senses in a remarkable evening under the stars October 4, 2025.
An experience unlike any other, Sherman Library & Gardens’ botanical fashion cocktail soiree in the picturesque gardens will include live music by Westbeat, a culinary offering to indulge the palate, specialty cocktails, a dynamic live auction, plus a DJ to keep the party going. Guests will stroll and mingle throughout the gardens, which will bloom to life in a lounge-style vibe. Plus, a special spirit tasting bar will be serving mixologist masterpieces as the worlds of horticulture and haute couture collide. For guests who appreciate shopping for rare finds, one-of-a-kind live botanical accessories will be available at a unique pop-up shop throughout the evening for guests to wear.
The inaugural Enchanted Botanical Ball will raise philanthropic support for the educational programs and initiatives that drive the pillars of Sherman Library & Gardens’ mission - history, horticulture, and the arts. The devoted support of attendees will set the gardens aglow with magic and merriment within Corona del Mar’s Cultural Hub as Sherman Library & Gardens aims to Grow The Gardens for our community and the generations of tomorrow. Special thanks to the event’s esteemed presenting sponsor, South Coast Plaza, and additional sponsors, including Newport Beach Porsche/Bentley, Fletcher Jones Mercedes, Nolet Spirits, Northern Trust Bank, and the Anaheim Ducks - their generosity is invaluable. Tickets are available for $375 each and can be purchased HERE where additional information on the fundraiser is also available.
About Sherman Library & Gardens
Sherman Library & Gardens is a non-profit that has been deeply rooted in Orange County, California for over half of a century, serving the community as a sanctuary and education beacon for history and beauty. Founded in 1966 by Arnold Haskell, and named for his friend and mentor, Moses Hazeltine Sherman, this iconic institution serves as a guardian of regional history and artifacts, a living library of plants both native and exotic, and a conservator of artistic works influenced by and produced in the Pacific Southwest. Today, Sherman Library & Gardens is a monument to Haskell’s dream of an educational and cultural center including a premier botanical garden and outstanding research library. Sherman Library & Gardens was recently recognized by the Newport Beach City Council with a proclamation, naming Sherman Library & Gardens as the “Cultural Hub” of Corona del Mar.
The nonprofit’s Grow The Gardens campaign is currently underway, with additional information and details HERE. Sherman Library & Gardens is located at 2647 E. Coast Hwy., Corona del Mar, CA 92625.
