The much-anticipated new Super Irvine International Market opens Friday, October 31, introducing a luxury market hall experience that blends contemporary design with a world of culinary discovery. Located at Parkview Center, part of the Irvine Company Retail Properties portfolio, the reimagined Super Irvine marks an exciting evolution for the beloved family-owned brand — transforming the traditional international market into a modern, design-forward destination inspired by Europe’s great food halls.

The new Super Irvine has been designed to create an elevated yet inviting atmosphere, where shoppers can gather, dine, and explore ingredients and flavors from across the globe. The space features warm neutral tones, natural textures, curated modern artwork, and soft ambient lighting, balancing sophistication with a sense of community. Polished concrete floors transition to hand-laid mosaics in specialty areas, while open, airy layouts evoke the vibrancy and flow of European marketplaces.

Beyond its striking design, Super Irvine offers a curated, immersive culinary experience that unites Mediterranean, Asian, European, and Western influences under one roof. The upscale market features a full-service deli, butcher shop with halal and kosher options, a fresh juice and coffee bar, and aisles dedicated to ingredients from around the world. The store also includes two exciting culinary concepts: Bella’s Bakery, which serves fresh-baked goods daily and offers catering for weddings and special events, and Irvine Cafe, a sit-down Mediterranean restaurant created by the second-generation owners.

Super Irvine’s commitment to quality and community runs deep. Much of the store’s organic produce comes directly from the family’s own farm in Fallbrook, California, where herbs, eggs, and fruit are grown and harvested with care. The market will also offer UCI students a 10% discount, further embedding itself in the Irvine community.

The story of Super Irvine dates back to 1983 when founder Ali Ariarad opened a small butcher shop in Orange. His passion for offering high-quality products at fair prices became the foundation of the brand’s values. In 1996, the family opened the first Super Irvine in Irvine followed by a second location in 2003 in Mission Viejo—the city’s first Persian market.
