For the first time in Orange County, Levain Bakery's #1 limited-edition cookie is coming to Newport Beach. The fan-favorite Black & White Cookie arrives at Levain's Fashion Island bakery for four days only — Friday, September 11 through Monday, September 14, National Black & White Cookie Day. Now in its third year, Black & White Weekend has become an annual Levain tradition, and this marks the first time Orange County guests can join in at their own neighborhood bakery.

This year, the cookie arrives alongside new ways to experience the weekend. Guests can pair it with the Black & White Cookie Milk Latte, and the first 50 guests to order the Black & White Cookie each day will receive a limited-edition Black & White mini tote.

Originally created for Levain's Flatiron bakery in New York City, the Black & White Chocolate Chip Cookie is Levain's twist on an iconic New York treat: a soft, thick and chewy dark chocolate cookie studded with white chocolate and milk chocolate chips. What began as a local fan favorite has grown into a limited-run moment that guests plan for all year.

The Black & White Chocolate Chip Cookie will be available in the bakery and via third-party delivery September 11th through 14th only. Levain Bakery Newport Beach is located at 315 Newport Center Drive within Fashion Island and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

ABOUT LEVAIN BAKERY

Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald founded Levain Bakery in 1995 as a small bread shop on the Upper West Side of New York City. After training for triathlons, the founder duo started baking six-ounce cookies with simple, high-quality ingredients as the ultimate post-race treat. After finalizing the recipe, the cookie flew off the bakery shelves. Thirty years later with locations from coast to coast, Levain is often lauded as the home of the world's best cookie, with a new bakery set to open this year in Coconut Grove, FL.
