Lido Legacy Live Brings The Righteous Brothers to Newport Beach for a Weekend of Giving

Music, community, and philanthropy come together this September as the historic Lido Theater launches Lido Legacy Live, an inaugural two-night fundraising event benefiting two organizations that serve Newport Beach residents across generations.

On Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 12, 2026, legendary duo The Righteous Brothers – Bill Medley & Bucky Heard will take the stage at the beautifully restored Lido Theater for an unforgettable evening featuring timeless hits including You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' and Unchained Melody.

Presented by Whittier Trust, Lido Legacy Live will raise funds for the Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard Scholarship Program, which provides youth with ocean safety education, physical fitness training, and leadership development opportunities, as well as Friends of OASIS Senior Center, a nonprofit dedicated to helping local seniors remain active, healthy, and connected.

The evening begins with a pre-show reception at 6 p.m., where guests can enjoy light bites from local favorites including The Cannery, Byblos Mediterranean Grill, Z Pizza, and additional participating restaurants. Theater doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the performance beginning at 7:30 p.m.
