Celebrate the Year of the Horse 2026

This "Year of the Horse" — beginning February 17, 2025 — will be bigger and better than ever, with community events and gatherings that honor tradition throughout Orange County.
This Lunar New Year, Orange County will welcome the holiday with a weeklong lineup of cultural programming, community performances, and culinary offerings across Irvine Company Retail Properties. From February 17 to March 3, select centers will feature Lunar New Year art installations and weekend activities created in partnership with local cultural groups, including traditional lion dancers, hands-on arts and craft experiences, and additional family-friendly moments designed to honor the season.

A Festival of Tradition at Irvine Spectrum Center

In partnership with the Chinese Irvine School, this annual celebration among the orange trees includes a multitude of live entertainment, including lion and dragon dancers, drum teams, chorale, martial arts demonstrations, and fun for the whole family, including face painting and more.
