Newport Beach-based interior design studio and lifestyle brand Pure Salt Interiors is celebrating a decade in business with several major milestones, including the opening of a new flagship store and design studio, the launch of a 10th Anniversary Collection, and the debut of its first-ever brand catalog.

Set to open in May, the new space at 314 Old Newport Blvd. brings the brand’s design vision together in a single, immersive environment. The location combines a full-service design studio with a thoughtfully curated retail experience, reflecting Pure Salt’s signature style defined by natural layers, organic textures, and a relaxed California sensibility. The store features a blend of exclusive in-house pieces alongside a curated selection of goods sourced through collaborations with artisans and global partners.

Spanning approximately 4,500 square feet, the flagship is designed to feel like a fully realized Pure Salt home. Visitors can explore styled spaces that showcase the brand’s distinctive finishes, furnishings, and collections, offering a tangible look at how their design philosophy comes to life. The integrated studio component allows clients to engage directly with the design team while moving through the space, creating a seamless connection between inspiration and execution.

Positioned in a highly walkable area near the coast, the new location is intended to serve both local residents and visitors, offering a destination for those interested in elevated yet approachable California design.

For co-founder and principal designer Leigh Lincoln, the Newport Beach location carries personal significance. She shares that the city has always been central to both her life and the brand’s evolution, making this next chapter especially meaningful as it reflects how far the company has come while staying connected to its roots.

Co-founder Aly Morford points to the relationships built over the past ten years as a defining factor in the brand’s growth. From clients to collaborators, those connections have supported Pure Salt’s expansion from a boutique design studio into a broader lifestyle brand. Despite that growth, she emphasizes that the core mission remains unchanged: helping clients create homes that feel both personal and livable.

10 Years of Pure Salt

To mark its tenth anniversary, Pure Salt Interiors is introducing a new collection inspired by the indoor-outdoor lifestyle that has long shaped the brand’s approach to design. Thoughtfully created for dining, lounging, and entertaining, each piece is intended to extend the comfort and aesthetic of interior spaces into the outdoors.

The collection highlights the materials and details that define Pure Salt’s signature look, including light-toned woods, woven elements, and a mix of natural finishes. Seating and tables are crafted from teak and sungkai, chosen for their durability and soft, organic grain. Lighting pieces incorporate hand-threaded manila rope, adding texture and dimension, while accents in terracotta and rattan bring in artisanal character through subtle, handcrafted details.

Layered yet cohesive, the collection reflects a refined but approachable point of view, designed to feel curated over time rather than overly styled. It’s a natural continuation of the brand’s aesthetic, centered on creating spaces that are both elevated and comfortable, indoors and out.

Anniversary Collection

Established in 2016 by longtime friends and business partners Aly Morford and Leigh Lincoln, Pure Salt Interiors began as a boutique interior design studio and has since grown into a nationally recognized lifestyle brand. Known for its thoughtful approach to residential design, the company expanded its footprint with the launch of the Pure Salt Shoppe in 2019, bringing its aesthetic into a retail setting.

At the core of the brand is a philosophy centered on simplicity and intention. Their work typically starts with a light, neutral foundation, layered with well-crafted furnishings, artisan textiles, and organic, nature-inspired accents. The result is a style that balances form and function, creating spaces that feel both elevated and comfortable for everyday living.
